BAJRANG I-BEAMS

Two horizontal flanges connected by one vertical web

Two horizontal planes (flanges) connected by one vertical component form the "I" cross-section. The upper and lower flanges have a slope, making them thin outside and thick inside. The I-beam is the most commonly used beam in structural steel buildings — capable of handling a variety of heavy loads with impressive load-bearing performance.

BAJRANG C-CHANNELS

Common Construction Failures

Poor Structural Design

Inadequate planning and design leads to structures that cannot bear actual loads — the most preventable failure mode.

Use of Low-Grade Materials

Sub-standard or uncertified steel compromises the entire structure. Always insist on NS-191 and IS 1786:2008 certified rebars.

Improper Bonding with Concrete

Failure to clean rebar surfaces or use correct spacing prevents proper concrete adhesion, weakening structural integrity.

Do's & Don'ts

Always use certified, standardised products. Look for NS-191 and IS 1786:2008 markings on every TMT rebar you purchase.

Never bend rebars using improper tools or re-bend them in the opposite direction — this weakens the bar at the bend point.

Store steel in a dry, well-ventilated space off the ground to prevent surface rust before use.

Clean rebar surfaces thoroughly before bonding with concrete to ensure maximum grip and load transfer.

Always follow your structural engineer's guidelines on spacing, lap length, stirrup spacing, and cover depth.

Do not deviate from the correct spacing and quantity of rebars specified in the structural drawings, even to save cost.
