Privacy Policy

Your Data, Protected

We keep it simple — no trackers, no data sales, no spam. Here is exactly what we collect and why.

Last updated: June 14, 2025

Swastik Rolling Mills Pvt. Ltd. (Bajrang Steel) (“Bajrang Steel”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the website at bajrangsteel.com.np. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you interact with our website. This falls into two categories:

Information you give us

  • Your name, email address, and phone number when you submit a contact or product enquiry form.
  • Your message content and any details you include in a free-text field.
  • Your job application details (name, email, phone, CV link, role of interest) if you apply via our Careers page.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic browser and device information (browser type, operating system, screen size) collected through standard web server logs.
  • Pages visited, time spent on each page, and referring URLs — used in aggregate form only to understand how visitors use the site.
  • Your IP address, retained only as long as required for server security purposes.

We do not use advertising trackers, sell your data to third parties, or build behavioural profiles.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

  • Respond to your product enquiries, pricing requests, or general questions.
  • Process and follow up on job applications submitted through our Careers page.
  • Improve the performance, content, and usability of our website.
  • Ensure the security of our systems and prevent abuse.

We will never use your contact information to send unsolicited marketing messages. Any communication from us will be directly related to your enquiry or application.

3. How Enquiries Are Handled

When you submit a contact or product enquiry form on our website, your information is routed in two ways:

  • WhatsApp: Your enquiry details are pre-filled into a WhatsApp message that opens on your device. Sending that message connects you directly with our sales team. We do not store your WhatsApp number on our servers.
  • Email backup (Web3Forms): A copy of your enquiry is sent to our inbox via Web3Forms, a third-party form submission service. Web3Forms processes your data solely to deliver the message and does not retain or sell it. Their privacy policy is available at web3forms.com/privacy.

We retain the email copy of your enquiry in our inbox for as long as is necessary to fulfil your request and for legitimate business record-keeping purposes, after which it is deleted.

4. Cookies

Our website uses only essential, functional cookies — small text files stored on your browser that are strictly necessary for the site to work correctly (for example, preserving your scroll position or enabling smooth page transitions).

We do not use:

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • Social-media tracking cookies.
  • Third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics).

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some functionality of the site.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Web3Forms — receives form submission data solely to forward it to our email inbox (see Section 3).
  • Legal obligations — we may disclose information if required to do so by law or a valid request from a governmental authority.
  • Business transfer — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, customer data may be transferred as part of that transaction, and we will notify you before any such transfer occurs.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our website is served over HTTPS, and access to our email systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
  • Objection — object to how we process your data in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 9. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
